Dear IROWG/ROMEX community, This is a friendly reminder that registration opens now for the second IROWG ROMEX (ROMEX-2) Workshop, which will take place from February 25 to 27, 2025, at EUMETSAT Headquarters in Darmstadt, Germany. The workshop will focus on presentations and discussions in the following areas: - Reports on ROMEX related NWP impact studies and applications - Best ways to present ROMEX results to stakeholders and decision-makers - Status and plans of relevant RO missions - Other relevant developments and research pertaining to ROMEX The first two days of the meeting will feature presentations and discussions, while the final day will include a plenary session dedicated to consolidating ROMEX findings and finalizing the report and recommendations for CGMS. In-person participation is strongly encouraged, though remote access will be available. A detailed agenda will be provided after registration closes. *Note:* A full abstract is not required. Following the approach of the first ROMEX workshop, proposals will be accepted as long as the topics are relevant. Please plan your travel in advance, as the agenda will be finalized in early February.
